RC Car Maintenance 101 (An Inforgraphic)

Maintaining an RC car may be easy as it sounds, but if you don't have an idea where to start, asking the opinion of those who have been doing it for a quite some time would be helpful. This infographic shows you how to maintain your RC vehicles in the right way. Don't rely in guesses because "self-medication" would not work for remote control vehicles.

Several RC shops usually give manuals to their customers to every newly-bought item. Along with the advice listed above, it is also a good practice to read what's in the manual. Here's an awesome rc car shops I'm dying to recommend! Hope you'll enjoy that too.

Battle of RC Tanks and Trucks

Apart from remote control cars, I also find RC tanks and trucks cool and intimidating especially if you hang with beginners. Not only that they are bigger compare to the regular touring cars, but RC tanks are also best when you drive them off roads. You can really see how tough it can be when drizzled with mud in the middle of a driving action. Feels like you're a king of all RC tanks!

Are you also fond of browsing YouTube for amazing RC vehicles video? If yes, bet you'll enjoy the videos I prepared for you!

video

This might be the most interesting RC tank battle with kids watching them. It's like takin you back to WWII or transporting you to Afghanistan or something. Battle grounds may not be the most pleasant thing to see, but from a perspective of an RC tank fan like me, this video definitely rocks! It's realistic as it can get.

This is a  4X4 Himoto Truck Brushles with a 60A Motor. Actually, I'd like to think that this video is special because it shows off the kind of RC truck model that I got two Christmases ago. I agree that it shows nothing particularly special in the video, but from my experience, this RC truck is one of the most durable. When I was practicing it, I accidentally got it near from a running vehicle. And yes, it got hit but all it had after the unfortunate event was a scratch on the side. I tried to check all other parts and to my surprise, it's still in one, good piece!

I'm sorry that the video is overly dramatic, but believe me, this is what it can do in reality. Mudding may be the best, most ideal activity for an RC truck because that's what it's built for! This is entirely different when it comes to use and activity compared to your traditional RC cars. For some reason, tanks look better when they get a little muddy.

Sometimes, we have to choose non conventional things to stand out. RC trucks are just few of the choices you have when purchasing an RC vehicle.

How to Buy Your First Radio Control Cars

With plenty of options you have out there when it comes to remote controlled helicopters or cars, buying the right toy-grade RC or hobby-level RC model can be a little bit daunting.

There are several key factors that you’ve to mull over carefully such as the specific type of engine, size of the vehicle, whether off-road or on-road, budget range, among other things.

Here are important things to know before buying RC vehicles:

ELECTRIC RC MODELS

If you’re just starting out, Electric RC vehicles (preferably with brushed motor) are a great option to go. They’re classified as ready-to-run (RTR) or ready-to-sail (RTS) models that are easier to use and very economic to run – an ideal choice for beginners venturing into the RC cars, tanks, boat, or helicopter hobby.

NITRO RC MODELS

Nitro RC vehicles, on the other hand, are generally considered a hobby-level product that needs a little bit more understanding. Yet again, once you’ve mastered the nitro RC vehicles, they’re absolutely very fantastic to use.

BRUSHLESS RC MODELS

This is a great alternative to Nitro vehicles. Brushless RCcars or boats are quieter and cleaner. With a high performance battery, they can out-perform Nitro Cars. They also have a higher rate of performance compare to standard brushed electric motors.

If you’re seeking for an environment-friendly RC model, a Brushless RC car or boat would be a perfect choice. You don’t have to worry about air pollution or exhaust noise from your RC car. All you have is a leaner, smooth high speed fun.

PETROL RC MODELS

If you want an RC car or boat that’s bigger, with lots of power, and have a very long lifespan, then Petrol RC model is just right for you. They run on straight petrol and are very popular in Europe. Petrol RC cars also cost much than electric and nitro cars.
